Formula-1 Japan Grand Prix Just Around the Corner!!

Suzuka Circuit will host Formula 1   Oct 5 thru Oct 7.

As you may know,  the Circuit is one of the oldest one served for Formula-1,  designed by Honda in 1962.

It was under major rennovation in 2009 and saw its 50 years since its opening.

It is the only circuit which hosts F-1  in Japan at present.     Several years ago  Fuji Speedway, operated by Toyota, volunteered to

host F-1  2007-2008 , but it retreated from F-1  due to several reasons.

Both Toyota and Honda retreated from supplying fomula cars,  and  F-1  lost its charm among Japanese.

There is a Japanese driver  Kamui Kobayashi who is playing in Team Sauber.     He has good potentiality but

still has not been among the top.      Besides Kamui,  our interest  also lies in the legendary Michael Schumacher

who came back to F-1.     It is amazing that he won 3rd in Europe Grand Prix and it should be really

exciting if he may take part in battle for pole position in Suzuka at his age.      His existance and performance

should be the most encouraging to a lot of middle aged people!
